Rokbak proudly donates £3,000 shared across our partner charities, CHAS (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland), Chris’s House and St Andrew’s Hospice from fundraising events.

At Rokbak, our partner charities are close to our hearts, as our employees handpicked each of them. Feeling they truly deserved special recognition and support for their life-changing work. Additionally, as part of our commitment to the local community, our charities are all within the North Lanarkshire area.

  • CHAS is a charitable body offering full family support service for babies, children, and young people with life-shortening conditions.
  • Chris’s House is the centre of help, response, and intervention surrounding suicide.
  • St Andrew’s Hospice provide specialist palliative care to those with life-threatening illnesses.

We are proud to say our donations are going to great causes to help make a difference.

To raise these funds, we organised a Christmas fayre in December last year for employees on site. Unfortunately, not all employees were able to attend, particularly our office-based employees who were working from home due to the Covid-19 guidelines in place at the time. The two-day event consisted of a bake sale, merchandise stalls, raffles, and plenty of festive food to enjoy. It was a great opportunity for employees on site to get into the festive spirit and improve their mental wellbeing during challenging times of Covid-19 whilst raising money for our partner charities.

Thanks to our generous employees and donations from suppliers a total of £3,000 was raised! To each collect their £1,000 cheques, last week we welcomed representatives from our three partner charities. It was great to meet in person and hear how our donations will be put to good use.

In 2022, we hope to keep up this momentum and have more events like this to continue to support our local charities and community.
